The count de monte cristo

Had a fun day on saturday at:

http://www.gamerbase.com/

Here in Reading, i got to play red Alert 3, on a local area network with a friend, for free, because they had not set up the strategy games yet, so installed them on 2 pcs for us, and gave us free access for the day. Not played computer games in ages, other then the odd flash game that i get obsessed with.

me and a friend used to play a game called “Age of empires/rise of rome” pretty much everyday after school in the school computer room for a year or two, and got pretty good. anyway we found this gamerbase had just opened so wanted to go play a stategy game for the fun of it.. so as we had free play on saturday, it means we have still got our two hours left on the account, so will be using that in the next week at some point.. after doing tutorials for red alert on the day, we had an idea of how to play, and i kicked nicks arse big time, fun game, a lot more to learn which is what i like about these strategy based games so looking forward to playing again.

The paris map.

The Paris map carving, is now in London, i hired a van with my brother for the day, and drove the linocut to london, due to its size, we had to end up getting a furniture removal type van, luckily my brother is a pretty good driver and likes driving. it was a lot of fuss, be we got it there safe and sound, very relieved to do so. i’m going on wednesday to talk about printing and sort this out. so very soon this will be done! other prints to come very soon of the other maps too, you can see here,
