So had a grand time in falmouth!! like!! super Grand!. the adventures of just a few days, made it seem like i was both never away, and that i was there a bloody long time!.

i did some doodles on the train, and i want to develop them using colour, and adding some interesting things, making more detailed images!. and getting this style stuff onto canvas:

so arrived in fally town!. on the wednesday!… got to go snorkling! but wanted to dive underwater and go under the tunnel, thus could not wear my wetsuit! and i was the only one not wearing a wetsuit! has yes i did scream like a little girl when i got into the water!! ahhh.. then me, mole and soph drove to get fish and chips, then went have to the rocks at pendennis castle, and friends of mole and sophie were there, having a fire and a BBQ, we stayed there till like 11pm.. nice clear skies and moonlight with a fire by the sea!!! very nice indeed!.

got back to moles! people went to bed, i went online for a little! found out via skype tom was in Fally town, so i went to see him at midnight! and he and his housemates were havine a little house garden chilax, chilled chatted with them till 3am, then slept on the couch!. the next day was spent!. with my old housemate! fun times going all around cornwall in his car, going to various beaches around cornwall!.

then that night i went to see jacque (swanpool swearer) i knocked on his door, i knew not that i was in Fally town, is housemate, answered the door, and said he should be 10 mins, he had gone for a run!, so i waited for him, on the wall by his house!. i saw him coming but he never saw me, i put my hands over my face, and looked away!. and BOO!, he did not rockognize me for a split second!, and thought i was some creepy person, and why was a stranger person using their hands to hide! haha!!.. anyway we chatted!. i waited for him in his house whilst he showered! it was about 10pm by this point!. we decided to go play some night crazy golf! and OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great game!. we were still playing at midnight! kind of clear skies! calm, no wind!. great for playing crazy golf in the dark as the moonlight was good!

This with sounds of the waves crashing in the background!. set the scene, for what was a very memorable game!, i did well at the start and was leading! but messed up badly! on 2 holes, which saw jacque race ahead!. Then we get to “HELL HOLE” the hole that jaque had the record on for getting a 7!!!! average is normally our max of 10, as we would never get it in otherwise!… so jacque looks on great form! looks like he was going to get a hole in one!!! we were joking about how we were going to beak the record!. anyway!. jacque (swanpool swearer) uses his max shots so does a 10..  i thought! damn i’m never going to get this and get a max ten and go well behind!> BUT BAM!!!! i land a 3!!!! which is totally unheard of! and we both go wild and high five!!!!!! and start crazy dancing under the moonlight!! HA!…

anyway! so Swanpool swearer Jacque.. comes out on good form and wins by ten points!!!! damn it!. but i was happy to have the new record on Hell Hole!!!! so it was all good and a nice game!.

i then the next morning wake up at 8am… to then go see Jacque photographing his show at college. We then go back to his house and he cooks up an amazing Cooked Breakfast!!!!!!!!

then we both go to the library and i go through all the creative magazines and write down their names!. we part ways!. i go walk about a bit more!. and get ready for the party,,, fun night had!. party time!!!! Amos Arives with ED!! great to see Amos after his 100 days Travels around the world!. anyway night progresses, lots happends fun fun fun fun fun! ends at 5am!! after lots of fun ness!.

next morning i get up at 11am.. bad weather for scuba diving!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

but it clears up and we go at about 4pm!!! man such a good dive!.. me mole and ed, lots of things to see! i was glad getting in the water!. going down! being weightless! man such great visability!. all round good dive!. went down MAX 9.7 meters…. and the dive lasted about 50 mins!. freezing cold and hungry after the dive!!! so we go get lots of fooooooooooooood!. sausage+chips+onion rings!!. munch on this! chill out watch “The inbetweeners” which is a relativly new English Comedy! and very funny!. then watched a film!.. very relaxing chilled out night!. and the next day i leave!! ahhhhhh

i go for a walk around pendennis first!!!   wahooooo before i got to pendennis!. i walked through town! and a NEWish SHOP!! and old fasioned sweeeeet shop!!! AHHHHH toffee Crumble!!! and they have it!! NO FRIKIN WAY!! this is the stuff of my childhood, holidays in Margate, Kent, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the sweet shop in margate the only one i knew that did it, had gone bust!!!!!!.. i got £5 worth!… as i wanted to take some home!!! i did eat a bit too much this day though! ahh

saw T-shirts Shorts man! one of the Falmouth Legends, on my walk around pendennis which was fun!. but he actually had a coat on for once!! SHOCK SHOCK!!!…

then got back! sophie drove me to the train station! and had a smooth trip home of 4 hours 30mins!. which is one of the shortest ever! the train was right there when i got to truro, which is the one change i have to make on the trip!! wahooo..

so over all a great trip!

my arthritis in my right elbow/complete right hand is, not faring so well, having an early night tonight, give it a rest. Though this is normal when i go on these crazy carving episodes, bleh!!!..
listening to “A short history of nearly everything”

I love the fact that the guy wrote the book, because he admitted to not knowing a great deal about science, so set about a three year research project to find out about “Nearly everything” and sets in out in a clear, and humorous manner. plus i love the visual explanations, for things such as how old the human race is thought to be, to that of the earth… he says something like:

stretch out your arms to the side, from tip of right hand to the tip of left hand, is how old the earth is, now clip off a fingernail, and that is how old the human race is in relation to the age of the earth. it a great book, with many fun visual things about everything, from geology, biology, cosmology, physics, just everything!. so many historical figures that are not included in our histories, but that shout be accredited with so much.. so a great read and i recommend, the book to anyone, even if they do think they know “a lot about science”

YES The template is done, Ready for Transfer to the linoleum!! i am still yet to sand the linoleum, but i’m getting the sand paper tomorrow, then BAM! it will be ready for transfer!!! i’m thinking transfer time to be about 2 days, pending on how many hours i can spend on it them days!. 

I look a little silly in the photo below! HA it still has the outcome i wanted, which was to show the scale of the print!. the room kind of did that, but i figured i was a better scale point, anyway i slipped! as the photo was taken on timer!! wahooo.

pretty excited to have to done to this stage, its been, about 2 years since i went to paris, and first invisioned the map, so its here!! after about 6 months of actual work, on and off… 

i’m not sure how long the carving will take!, but its looking like about 1-2 months, it will all pend on when i start my part time job!, (yup need to earn money some how) if i could dedicate every waking moment to this i would, but alas, my joints i have to accept cant take that, so i will have to force myself out, and if i have not started work, i have to at least carry on with the swimming. 

so yea, i just want it done, and printed!!! going to be a crazy mission! one good side to this, is i will most likely listen to about 10 full audio books!. any good series out there i should try!,, i’m thinking the terry pratchet books! hmmm…  i’m going to relax for the rest of the day! and finish my scarf off! hope to anyway! wahooo.

so i have been having some luck this weekend just gone, its not carried on much but then, i have not been out and about making anything happen.

This luck was that on friday i played the euromillions, which i never do much, and won £13.86,,,, which was then enough that it payed for the travel to London on saturday, to see a friend. i met him at London bridge station, and just as we left the station i found a set of four passport photos!! wahoo so this would add to my current collection….

We walked around loads of London, went to china town, had some lunch, walked some more, and decided to go down by the river and walk along the sand, finding lots of things to take pictures of. I then found a dirty round metal thing, that looked interesting, it looked to me like it could be some kind of car part valve, but interesting all the same, so i kept it….. left it in boiling water when i got home, as it had been in the River.. Bleh, and was not clean at all…. soo out of interesting to see what i could find out about it. The next day i typed in the internet the writing it had on it. Turns out its a white Gold, worth $1000 so about £650 or so.. which is amazing… going to be going to a jewlers asap, to see if i can make at least a few hundred bucks!!!

This is cool as it might mean i travel ideas might actually happen!. I still have no job so was doubting i would be able to go.

Paris map is tough going at the moment, i worked on it for 11 hours straight yesturday, and thats just prepping the pencil lines to get it all reading and set for transfer, i’ve covered about 30-40% thus far so still have a lot to do, it hardly fits it my studio, i just laugh at myself every time i realise what i’m doing, its sooooooo much work its insane. this is easily a months work even if i work solid 7 days a week, which i will not be able to do this time due to having to do other things!! ha!…

bleh thats all really nothing much of interest to report to the world.
i hope the luck carries on, ha all my money worries to be taken care of!! ah like magic!! BAM!

i’ll post some images you get the idea, i have been getting rather bored of things not really happening, so of course i have been trying to make things happen myself, its all one can do. I do find my own company ok, but too much of it of course in not the best of things!.  

I am yet to start my job in the care home, waiting to hear about my police check (CRB) of course its spotless, but its vulnerable people i will be working with, so of course they have to check things!. so whilst i am waiting to at last be earning some money, i have had my artworks to attend to. which is just trawling along, not a lot to actually talk about the artworks. well i could but its really not all that interesting to talk about the things i am doing you will see them when they are done!. i have been carving quite a bit of random stuff.

i went to the first meeting of a scifi/horror book club, which was interesting, and i will be collecting the book i am going to read (Enders game) from the library tomorrow. there was three of us at the first meeting for the book club, i was the worst there, the others had read an amazing amount of books which was very impressive, but the whole reason to join a book club, is to get ideas from people that know their stuff, so its all very good indeed. so that was last tuesday, then i went to knitting club, and i hope to have the sowing done on tuesday for my scarf, and well lets just say i hope in about two weeks to have it all done, with backing fabric on and everything!. 

last weekend was fun, as i went to a football match with a good friend, then went back to London with him, and stayed with him in hackney for the night, got to do some great chilling at long last with some of his friends at their apartment, and watched a DVD and got in a curry with them which was great, Social stuff to be doing, of which i do not get to do any of here in reading! BLEH!… 

planning out where life is heading, its hard to say, so much is pending on this job and earning some money, so much is pending on some lucky breaks, i will hopefully be able to step up my game, as far as selling my work goes, as soon as i get the money with which to start producing the work in a way i would like to… Paris map, i hope goes down well with the world….  i have a website idea i am developing and in talks with a few people about, that will also take some money to get it off the ground… so its all going to be about, me investing in myself, over the next year or so… see where i am at, if i can move somewhere new in the next year, then great, as it gets tedious being here in my home town not very exciting,

went for a chilled out walk to a local park that over looks the town tonight, that was nice, and sunsetting, got some pictures i will put below, and yea bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh…..

Just another Random Carving

Man what a day i had in London last saturday. basically i went into London to meet a friend Jacques, who i used to play early morning golf with in Falmouth, next to swanpool beach. We Decided to go around some galleries for the day..

Due to Jacques Hardcore lifestyle, we had to meet in London at 1pm, though also because of the Star Status of this guy he turned up an hour late, though he did bring me a chocolate Donut to make up for it! soo that went down a treat!, we were all set to get cracking with hitting up the galleries, Jacques was all organized with a hand drawn map. BAM! we got to the first gallery and IT WAS CLOSED!… Jacque Flipped at this point.

We decided to carry on and find some more galleries, They cant all be closed we were thinking!!! but man so we get on the underground, and decide on another gallery to go to! by this point though its getting late!. but we make it!. i forget the name of it, but wow it had some interesting architecture pieces in!!! we split up and went out separate ways in the gallery. i really liked the what looked like huge doors like about 20 foot tall, made me think about how cool it would look on the house i want to design one day!. also saw some other interesting works, really enjoyed looking at sculptural pieces!!!! and will have to remember to try this out one day!…

so we had nearly 40 mins in here, then set off again! we then went to the apple store to check if Jacques could get new headphones, as his ipod ones were broken! but his luck was out and his warranty had expired, jacque nearly flipped but i calmed him down.

soo yea jacque was nearly all flipped out, it was lucky that the next gallery we go to near the apple store is a photography one!! wahoooo it was amazing, and it made me want to go somewhere ASAP. as it had interesting photos from all different places all over the world, from like the last 30 years!. jacque was very happy by this exhibition and had calmed down from his flips… so we were here until closing time, then went to the tate modern, on the way looking at the Heyward entrance to see it was closed, jacque did not flip at this as luckily we were expecting it to be closed… though we did go buy some food stuffs… jacque downed a liter of Chocolate milk, some how i’m not sure!!.. and i had a duck wrap! which went down really well…

went to the tate modern! the exhibition was out of my price range!. Jacques went in though, and got in cheap as a guy sold him a cheap ticket! so that made him happy, i left at about 8pm, and yea got him one and a half hours later, and chilled out, did some more map design stuff…

Not much else to report, Paris map design done!, life is going well, been doing more random Carvings!! hmm but no where to print, so looks like they will not be getting printed for a while!. i’ll put the carvings below with the pictures of me and J’s day out though!. byeeeee

So i really do need to update my site!. i need to make this wordpress work better in my site or make it stand alone, i just left it to a default Design… i might make it and not in an Iframe!. as its all terrible at the moment! scrolling is rubbish!.

carrying on with paris map design, had a job interview today!! hope i get it!.
swimming about 5 days a week, its going fine! getting better at it thats for sure!, and its weird but i’m not that exhausted after 100 lengths, it seems like my mental capacity to just do what i got to do helps, and the whole never quit attitude…

i need money so i can buy a press
i need money so i can actually have some sort of resemblance of a social life…
whaaaaaa blah blah blah!. i complain lots about this to myself!. the sooner i get a job the better!!.. only a part time job, as i dont need much money.. and a part time job will be able to pay for all i need for sure!, as well as paying rent etc!!!!!

well listening to the waifs and working on PM.. soooo gotta go! i feel like making another carving tonight but will hold out! the sooner i get this PM design done, the sooner i can start working on it!, i need to keep saying this to myself!!!!! right BAM! i’m offffff
